ASAP Rocky is showing us that aging can be chic. The 36-year-old rapper also recently shared that he’s learned to love his natural silver strands as he prepares to enter his 40s.

Speaking to Elle, Rocky alluded to not being afraid of “getting older”. “I’m creeping up on 40.” “Man, I’m glad to be that m,” he said, as he pointed proudly to his gray hair.

The “Fashion Killa” star, born Rakim Mayers, went on to share how he’s dressed differently as a father. Rocky, who shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, with Rihanna and is expecting a third child with her, explained that parenthood affected his style decisions.

“If I had to categorize my dad style, it would be way more focused,” he said. “It was all mismatched bold clothing, just for the fun of it – before”. “Now it’s more a discreet kind of luxury.”

Whether it’s trying out audacious styles or leaning into elegance, Rocky, too, is transforming aging—and gray hair—into a sartorial power play.
